Dearest Life!
 
When did I last tell you that I love you?
A full two minutes ago?
 
No!
 
I’m sure you know, dear Life, that
 
every blink of my eyes is a tribute to the beauty in life;
 
each time I inhale, I pay tribute to the air of life;
 
every heartbeat is an affirmation of life;
 
and my body is a part of life,
although I and Life is so much more than just my body.
 
 
 
Sometimes you give me harder days,
sometimes lighter days.
But you keep on continuously giving me new days,
which I gratefully receive and live.
 
 
 
And our deal still works:
The more I enjoy the small things,
